Technician was awesome. Knowledgeable, helpful. Did an excellent job.
I completed a diagnostic on an Armstrong gas furnace. Determined that the inducer motor is failing, the collector box is cracked and the exhaust drain boot is worn and split apart. I gave the client an estimate for repairs. I also gave the client an estimate to replace the system. I recommend that due to the age, condition and cost of repairs that the unit be replaced. Client decided to replace the systems.
I completed the service maintenance agreement fall tune up on a Carrier gas furnace. I visually inspected the unit. I cleaned the condensate drain and the flame sensor. Checked voltages, amps and pressures. Completed combustion analysis. Cycled and monitored system. Operating normally at this time.
